We received many calls last week when we took away the one time ACH payment option in the resident portal. We have decided to add this option back into the portal, but per Visa and Mastercard payment compliance rules, we had to take away the pay by credit card/debit card button.
If you pay your rent by credit card or debit card every month, please click the "Pay by Phone" button in the resident portal. This will give you an 800 number and a unique resident code so that you can call in and pay your balance and submit your credit or debit card over the phone.
Your manager can also assist you in paying by credit or debit card by phone, or you can call propertybridge support at (888) 988-5724. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we have to stay compliant with the credit card agencies.

Dear Residents:
As you may know, Liss Property Group has partnered with PropertyBridge to offer the convenience of electronic rent payments.
This letter is to inform you of a change to your payment options within the PropertyBridge system. Due to credit card association rules and regulations governing compliance, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer one-time payment via "Pay by Bank Account" (ACH) through the Resident Portal.
You will still have the option to make a one-time ACH payment from your bank account, but you will simply have to call into the Management Office and have the Manager place this over the phone for you.
You will also still have the option to set up free recurring ACH payments from your bank account, or to make a one- time payment with your credit/debit card with a convenience fee through the Resident Portal.
We also offer the option to pay your rent in cash at any of 35,000+ MoneyGram agent locations across the U.S., like Walmart. For more information on this payment option and to get your unique account number, click on the "Pay by Cash at MoneyGram" tab.
It's easy to get started with online payments! Register or log in at the following website: www.lisspropertygroup.com and click Pay Rent Online.
We hope that you will take advantage of online payments, including the free and convenient recurring "Pay by Bank Account" (ACH) option. Follow the prompts to set up a recurring payment schedule, and never again worry when rent is due!

Act now before PECO rates increase 43%!
On January 1, 2011, caps will be removed from the utility rates that were put in place in 1998 by Pennsylvania state law. As a result, PECO's electric supply rate will jump from $0.068/kwh to $0.0994/kwh—a rate increase of 43%. You can default to this higher rate, or choose a lower rate. Even PECO is encouraging you to choose a lower rate. With deregulation, people should be shopping for their electricity. If not, PECO becomes the default provider.

Save Money on Your PECO Bill!

As many of you are aware, PECO’s electric rates will be increasing anywhere from 20 – 50% per year starting January 1, 2011. We are very excited to announce that we have worked out a special rate for all our residents with North American Power that will lock in a rate today of .0899 that is already 10% LOWER than the current PECO rate of .099. This will not only save you 10% right from the start, but you will also avoid any PECO increases that are set to come in the New Year. You will still get one simple bill directly from PECO, however your electric supplier will be switched from PECO to North American Power at the lower rate.
Anyone who wants to sign up to start saving a minimum of 10% per year already on their electric bill can simply sign up online at www.napower.com/liss. You'll need your PECO account number, address, and the name on the account—or simply email this info to rent@lisspropertygroup.com and we can set it up for you.

Help Liss Property Group Donate to Toys for Tots

Christmas is around the corner and there are many children who will not have gifts under the tree to open this year. We can make a difference in a child’s life by donating brand new, unwrapped toys to Toys For Tots. If you are interested in participating, please bring a new, unwrapped toy for either a boy or girl to the management office. The Marine Corps Reserve will be collecting these toys on Tuesday, December 16, 2010.

Liss Property Group Holiday Canned Food Drive

The holidays are fast approaching, and there are many of people in need—especially with all of the financial hardships a lot of people are faced with today. We thought that a canned food drive would be a great way to help anyone having difficulty this time of year. If you are interested in participating, please bring your cans to the management office located at:

If you are in need of help, please let the management office know at (215) 969-3348. Canned goods that are not distributed to our own residents will be donated to a place of worship, so if you have any suggestions as to a place of worship to bring our donations, please let the office know.
On Friday, November 19, 2010, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., residents can come to the office to receive a gift box. Please let us know your name and apartment number in advance so we can have everything ready for when you arrive.

Anna is always very helpful, and any time i need anything or need something fixed, she is right on top of it.
